Rice can be found in every middle eastern kitchen, as it is used in many main dishes. But did you know that you can include rice in your beauty routine?
 

In fact, rice water can be extremely beneficial in terms of hair growth and strengthening, because it contains vitamin B, vitamin C, and vitamin E, in addition to essential minerals and amino acids.

 

 

Rice Water Hair Benefits

Japanese women were the first to use rice water in their beauty routine to have a long shiny beautiful hair. Rice water contains ingredients that helps you treat and repair damaged hair inside out, and protects hair from cracking. Other benefits of rice water include: Hair loss treatment, hair regeneration and growth, dandruff treatment.

 

How to prepare rice water for stronger longer hair?

First recipe:

- In a pot over heat, add 1 cup of rice, after washing it, to 2 cups of water.

- Cover the pot and leave it for 15 minutes.

- Drain the water and store it in a bottle after it cools down.

- Use it in your hair care routine.

 

Second recipe:

  • Soak ½ a cup of rice in two cups of lukewarm water
  • Leave it at room temperature for an entire day.
  • Use fermented rice water to wash your hair in order to nourish it, and bring back its shiny look.

 

How to use rice water on your hair:

- First, wash your hair and condition it using shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair type.

- Then, rinse your hair with rice water.

- Rub your scalp with rice water.

- Leave it on your hair for at least 5 minutes or 15 minutes maximum.

You can repeat the process 2 or 3 times per week.
