The Italian Caprese burger with Pesto

Ingredients

½ kg of ground meat

½ cup of bread crumbs

2 eggs

2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

5 pieces of fresh mozzarella, in large size

1 tomato, chopped into circles

4 Italian Ciabatta bread

 

Pesto sauce

Bouquet of basil

2 teaspoons of pine

5 tablespoons of olive oil

1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese

 

How to prepare

Mix well meat with bread crumbs, eggs, barbecue sauce, salt and all spices. Pinch meat pieces and place them in the preheated oven until they become tender.

To prepare the pesto sauce, put all ingredients in the electric blender and mix until the mixture becomes smooth.

Cut the bread in half and put the meat with pesto sauce, tomato and mozzarella cheese on top.

The burgers can be served cold.
