The oversized knit vest is all over our Instagram feeds

Autumn is officially here, and since the weather hasn’t completely gone cold yet, wearing a knit vest makes more sense than a long sleeved knit blouse, especially that our favorite influencers are rocking the style.

The oversized knit vest and shirt combo has been seriously invading our feeds for the past two weeks and we can’t but love the effortless chic combination. Influencers, each with her own fashionable perspective, styled the trend in her way. Looks were commonly complemented with different knee-length boots.

American influencer, fashion designer and founder of Weworewhat label, Danielle Bernstein went for an oversized light beige vest with an also oversized white shirt and Chanel pointed-toe knee-length leather boots. A chain necklace elevated the look in a second. Chic, comfy and eye-catching.

 

 

Alicia Roddy, the British fashion influencer and Instagram star with more than 1 million followers, is among the influencers who wore the trend more than once, in two totally different ways. First, she teamed a black knit vest with an oversized white shirt and a pair of black split-hem pants.

 

 

 

 

In another look, Alicia took things more serious. She chose a checkered vest in beige and black, and styled it in a sexy look over a white shirt and with knee-length white leather boots. She added a Louis Vuitton bag and a beige coat.

 

 

We have been loving the vest and shirt with the mini skirt looks, and Maria Valdes, the Spanish fashion influencer, rocked the style. She chose a mini pleated and checkered mini skirt, a back to school vibe, with a light beige vest and a blue oversized shirt. The black minimal bag she chose gave a classy vibe to the look.

 

 

Emelie Natascha, a Swedish vlogger and beauty guru based in London, chose a totally unique style and different palette of colors, introducing a new vibe to the knit vest. The vest was in pale green, the shirt in white, both paired with straight-leg jeans and the iconic Hermès slippers in black. The green Balenciaga bag definitely spiced up the look.

 

 

Freelance stylist Sophia Coelho, with 419 k followers on Instagram, chose to wear a knit set, vest and shorts, with a white shirt. She then paired them with knee-length beige boots.
