The primary elections were held yesterday in eight states and the District of Columbia. Thus, some stars were keen to urge everyone from these states to vote and make the change they want to see in their lives, insisting on benefiting from their right to vote.

Pennsylvania, Indiana, Maryland, Rhode Island, Iowa, Montana, New Mexico, and South Dakota, in addition to Washington DC, casted their votes at the primary elections in the United States, where COVID-19 epidemic is still spreading and after George Floyd’s murder that sparked a series of protests in the states to fight the system’s racism.

Jlo shared earlier a video for Martin Luther King, and commented on Floyd’s case saying: “We need to erase the fear and hatred that exists. Not erase people. We are all God’s children. We need to love and appreciate all the beautiful things that every individual person is. There are more of us who live a life of love and acceptance than those who live in rage and hate. Do not let the angry, and hateful win!! Say something. Do something. Let’s build bridges not burn them.”

He holds the most powerful office in the world, yet offers nothing but ignorance and prejudice… He is fueling a system that is already rooted in racism… it’s time for a change.”

Ariana Grande

The 7 Ring songstress also called people to go vote and shared her message on Instagram: “A lot of things feel scary, dangerous and uncertain right now... but there are things within our control: voting, contacting lawmakers, and taking the census. the most important thing you can do right now to take the power back is become a voter and know when your next election is… We’re voting for more than the president. Use your vote…”

Kim Kardashian

The reality star expressed her disgust from racist activities and shared her thought on social media, saying: “I am angry… I am infuriated and I am disgusted. I am exhausted by the heartbreak I feel seeing mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children suffering because their loved one was murdered or locked away unjustly for being black.”

“…I know I can use my voice to help amplify those voices that have been muffled for too long.”
