Coachella 2020 Canceled Due to Coronavirus

Coachella Music and Arts Festival has been officially canceled this year. One of the largest and most awaited music festivals in the USA and the world, it is also a place for celebrities and A-listers to show off their fabulous 'festival fashion'.

However, just like any other international concert and festival that was postponed or canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Coachella organizers decided to cancel its scheduled date in October 2020. The news came official on Wednesday, when Riverside County Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser signed an order to cancel the October event, citing fears of a possible resurgence of COVID-19 cases next fall.

 

Also, Coachella organizers have not yet decided whether to open the big event in April, with a limited number of people, or wait until October 2021 to welcome everyone, when things go back to normal.

Music performances that had been booked for October 2020 were postponed, including Travis Scott and Lady Gaga’s performances.
