We Are The People Opens at Aïshti

We Are The People, Aïshti’s latest venture, is now open on the Downtown flagship store’s fourth floor, ushering in a new shopping experience. The space is a joint effort between renowned architect Rabih Geha and fashion curator Mouna Harati, and it stocks the most exclusive pieces from the world’s top designers. The clothes and accessories, all of which are curated and are stand-out pieces, are displayed like mood boards, each following a theme that’s relevant to the current fall/winter 2017-18 designer collections. In addition to the mainstream luxury brands, We Are The People stocks hard-to-locate pieces by labels such as For Restless Sleepers, La Double J, Loewe, Sonia Rykiel and Proenza Schouler. A brilliantly colorful zigzag pattern adorning the floor and walls adds to the energy, both complementing and contrasting with People Restaurant nearby. We Are The People is also an interactive initiative that captures the city’s dynamic spirit, and it’s right in the heart of Beirut.
