The Dolce & Gabbana Exhibition Lands in Paris
Marion Dupuis - Madame Figaro
14-January-2025

For some good reasons, only the important clients, a few friends of the house and a handful of journalists are, each year, invited by the brand to these magical fashion shows, accompanied by limitless festivities, which take place in the most beautiful sites or emblematic places. Discovering this spectacular universe (never revealed to the general public), getting up close and personal with these unique and fantastic pieces is now possible thanks to the latest exhibition «Du Cœur à la Main: Dolce & Gabbana ». After a launch at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, the exhibition has arrived to the Grand Palais, Paris, for the second leg of its world tour and to celebrate the brand’s legacy and love. (from January 10 to March 31, 2025).

This exhibition is a feast for the senses, where every piece stuns and every dress dazzles. Spanning a dozen immersive rooms, it features over 200 of Dolce & Gabbana's exquisite haute couture creations. It’s a breathtaking homage to Italy, blending the nation’s rich history, from the grandeur of high aristocracy to the vibrancy of popular traditions. Visitors are transported through baroque Rome, Luchino Visconti’s evocative Sicily, and a kaleidoscope of inspirations drawn from art, architecture, crafts, folk culture, opera and cinema.

At the heart of it all is a celebration of Italian craftsmanship, epitomized by the famous fatto a mano (handmade) tradition, and Dolce & Gabbana's legendary joie de vivre. Curated by renowned fashion historian Florence Müller, this exhibition is a mesmerizing journey of endless wonder.
