All You Need To Know About Miss World 2017

Last week, the Miss World 2017 competition was broadcasted all over the globe for us to watch. The grand prize went to Indian contestant, Manushi Shhillar. She’s only the 6th Indian woman who became Miss World! Here is all you need to know about this beauty queen.
The 20 year old contestant was born to doctor parents and is studying to become a cardiac surgeon herself. She’s currently pursuing a medical degree at the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonipat, Haryana, and aims to open a chain of non-profitable hospitals in rural areas.
Her passion? Poetry and painting. Manushi says that doing those art activities bring out the creativity in her.
The young Indian icon has set up a project for Miss World 2017 called ‘Project Shakti’ which consists of spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene.
