Saudi Arabia Gives New Freedom to Women

We have never seen anything like this in Saudi Arabia: a woman performing live in the Gulf country! We had never expected such a thing to happen in this ultra-conservative country...
The woman who will probably be mentioned in the upcoming history books is none other than the famous Hiba Tawaji, the Lebanese singer who became international thanks to her candidacy for The Voice France in 2016. On top of that: she did not wear the veil!
She performed on stage at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh. Thousands of women attended the unprecedented concert where the singer performed Celine Dion's hit songs as well as some Arab classics. Cheers to open-mindedness!
