Anya Taylor-Joy’s Three-Way Take on the Summer Scarf

Anya Taylor-Joy continues to prove she's a style icon when it comes accessorizing. At the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest, she showed how a simple outfit can stand out with the right styling , in her case, three clever scarf looks.

Joined by her husband Malcolm McRae, she kept things cool in a classic summer combo: a white tank top and high-rise shorts. But what could’ve been a basic outfit turned into a standout moment, thanks to her creative use of three scarves in three different ways:

The Shoulder Drape

First came a delicate pashmina, trimmed with lace and draped effortlessly across her shoulders.  It’s a styling move that felt timeless, almost cinematic in its ease.

The Braided Balaclava

Then came the statement. Taylor-Joy added a vibrant jolt of neon with a lime green knitted headscarf, styled like a balaclava and tucked between her long, blonde braids.

The Bag Accent

Finally, a third scarf...this time, a patterned kerchief, made its way onto the handle of her colorful Farm Rio handbag.

She completed the ensemble with black rectangular Dior sunglasses and white Mary Janes, anchoring the outfit in her signature blend of retro glam and modern cool.

A Summer Staple, Reimagined

Scarves have always been a year-round staple, but this summer, they’re having a particularly expressive moment. Whether cinched around the waist like a belt or worn loosely over the hair in classic Grace Kelly fashion, the scarf is proving its versatility once again.
