THE PINCH BAG by GIVENCHY

The design takes its name from the gestures of handcraft: cutting, folding, and pinching to achieve a precise form. The Pinch also references ready-to-wear fittings, where garments are tailored to the silhouette.

The Pinch is offered in three sizes, in black and ivory, seasonal shades of deep red and acid yellow, and in gold or silver mirror leather. Medium and small versions include a concealed mirror – a discreet detail of utility.

The Pinch is distinguished by its construction in natural-grained box leather. Cut and folded like an envelope, the leather is secured with gold-finished metallic brackets that serve both as a new Givenchy signature and as a structural element. The silhouette is sharp yet rounded, balancing linear clarity with sculptural volume.

Palmellato leather – with its shiny, irregular, crepe-like finish – adds texture and a subtle sense of movement, offset by the bag’s contrasting edges. Curved hardware framing the gusset creates tension, resolving in an inventive closure system that reflects Givenchy’s heritage of technical craft.
