Marking a new chapter for the maison, Celine made a striking return to Paris Fashion Week with the debut Spring 2026 collection of newly appointed creative director Michael Rider.
Held at the brand’s elegant atelier near the Tuileries Garden, the show blended men’s and womenswear, offering a refined yet modern take on the Celine identity.
Rider, who previously worked under Phoebe Philo, referenced his clean, minimalist codes while infusing the collection with a fresh, forward-looking energy. The designs balanced structure and fluidity as well as sharp tailoring, sleek outerwear, and understated eveningwear with unexpected textures and soft silhouettes.
The collection also nodded subtly to Hedi Slimane’s era, particularly in its edgy, youthful attitude, but Rider made it clear that this new direction is distinctly his own: polished, intelligent, and quietly bold.
By returning to the official fashion week calendar after a 2-year-hiatus, Rider repositions Celine at the center of the conversation—reclaiming its legacy while confidently reshaping its future.
