Apparently, Unibrows are a Thing

So apparently, the latest beauty trend involves growing a thick, bushy unibrow. While this might seem repulsing to some, others are getting famous because of it. Let’s take Greek Cypriot model Sophia Hadjipanteli for example. She has a fascinating bone structure, piercing blue eyes and a MASSIVE unibrow that she enjoys putting on full display!

It’s been about two years that the 21-year-old model and marketing major has been flaunting her jet-black unibrow on Instagram, and it created quite a controversy: “I was put on the Instagram explore page one day when I was going to a motocross show-right before I posted this selfie and it reached, like, a million people, and there were hate comments I've never seen in my life before” she said.

In an Interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Hadjipanteli made it very clear that she doesn’t care about people’s criticism “I am not really doing this to show people that they have to like [my unibrow]. I am more so doing it to show people that they can get on with their lives by having a preference.”

The model then shared an inspirational message to her followers as well as her haters: "I think beauty in itself is great," she said, "because it's so subjective across cultures but I also think there's a big community that shames people for certain types of beauty and I think that's wrong. So instead of just getting rid of beauty standards, it should just be more inclusive”.
She definitely did the right thing by deciding to ignore society’s narrow views on beauty, don’t you think?
