Zendaya Rewears Her 2015 Oscars Dress to The Drama Premiere

Last night in Los Angeles and at the wedding-themed premiere of The Drama, the actress leaned into the moment with striking intentionality. Dressed in white and wearing what appeared to be a wedding band, she sparked immediate speculation—especially as rumors continue to swirl about her possible marriage to Tom Holland. Zendaya revisited her own fashion history, rewearing the silk Vivienne Westwood gown she first donned at the 2015 Oscars. The move felt deeply intentional—an elegant nod to the classic bridal adage, “something old,” reinterpreted through a modern, self-referential lens.

Her longtime stylist and creative partner, Law Roach, confirmed the choice by sharing a throwback image of the actress in the same look, captioned: “Something old.”

Roach, who has long been the stylist shaping Zendaya’s image, also added fuel to the ongoing speculation earlier this month. While attending the 2026 Actor Awards, he teased to reporters that a wedding had already taken place, stating, “You missed it,” before confirming with a laugh, “It’s very true.”

Later in the evening, Zendaya shifted gears at The Drama after-party, stepping out in a custom creation by Harris Reed. The look drew inspiration from Prince’s iconic white lace ensemble from the 1985 Purple Rain tour—romantic, theatrical, and imbued with a rebellious edge.

The layered styling choices felt especially fitting given the premise of The Drama, directed by Kristoffer Borgli. The film follows Emma Hardwood, played by Zendaya, and Charlie Thompson, portrayed by Robert Pattinson, a couple on the brink of marriage whose relationship unravels just days before their wedding.

By mirroring elements of the film’s storyline on the red carpet—bridal references, romantic symbolism, and hints of tension—Zendaya blurred the boundary between fiction and reality.
