Taylor Swift threw the most epic New Year Costume Party

The East Coast celebrated New Year in style this time. In an intimate dinner party, celebrities hit the first minutes of 2019 wearing costumes of their favorite childhood heroes. The fans only realized that it was a costume party when Taylor Swift uploaded a photo on Instagram showing all the celebrities who were there, each wearing a different costume. "Mary Poppins, Audrey, Ariel, Ms. Frizzle, Cinderella, Gwen, Mr. Toad, Avril, Nancy Drew, Posh Spice, Rizzo, Frida Kahlo, Steve Irwin, Dorothy," Taylor shared with us on social media. "This new year we decided to dress up as our childhood heroes. Sending you all love and hope going into 2019."

Among all attendees, Taylor Swift wore a creative Ariel costume from “The Little Mermaid”, Blake Lively dressed up as Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz”, and Gigi Hadid did an outstanding portrait of Mary Poppins. It seems that Taylor brought back her Celebrity squad and pulled one of the best New Year parties ever. Then again, a lot of Swift’s friends were missing from the epic picture: Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld, and boyfriends Joe Alwyn. It does not necessarily prove that her beau was not there, he might just haven’t wanted to be in the frame. The couple was spotted recently on two dates in New York.
