Arab Models on the New York Fashion Week Runway

The New York Fashion Week was filled with Arab or Partially Arab models, From Halima Aden to Gigi Hadid! To start with, the Longchamp Fall 2019 Ready-to-wear runway was highlighted with the presence of Moroccan-British model Nora Attal. In addition, the half-Palestinian sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid were the pearls of Tom Ford’s and Ralph Lauren’s NYC Show respectively. But there was even more! The Star Halima Aden rocked the Sherri Hill Fall 2019 Ready-to-wear runway as she looked dazzling in her long-sleeved dress embroidered in crystals and cyan blue shades. The look was completed with a tied masterpiece turban. Last week was also a big week for 11 honoré in the NYFW, the most remarkable thing in the show was the cast of models from different cultures and backgrounds styled with A-list fashion brands such as Brandon Maxwell, Gurang, Zac Posen, Chromat, and most importantly the Middle East’s favorite Dima Ayad. The Lebanese designer whose base is in Dubai pulled a show that included colorful elegant dresses ranging from red to green to sequin embellished dresses.
