One of the biggest events in the fashion industry is the Met Gala, which is an annual fundraising for the benefit of Anna Wintour’s institute the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Each year, celebrities who attend the Met Gala must choose their red carpet look according to a theme set by the institute exhibition. This year’s theme was “About Time: Fashion and Duration”, sponsored by luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton.

However, Met Gala will not be held as scheduled on May 4, 2020, as the Metropolitan Museum is closing its doors temporarily following a wave of canceled and postponed cultural events around the world due to coronavirus. Anna Wintour also announced that the Met Gala will be postponed to a later date.
