Bold Shoulders will Double your Power this season

It seems like everything is getting bigger this season; from oversized suits and pants to chunky necklaces, earrings and sunglasses, up to bold wide shoulders. Whether you’re a fan of these oversized shoulders or not, they are the biggest trends on the SS20 runways. 

Bold shoulders aren’t new to the fashion industry, it used to be a symbol of power in the Victorian era and was known as the Power Shoulders, which made their comeback during the 80s, and today, designers are embracing this era’s statement shoulders and giant puffy sleeves.

Michael Kors gave the trench coat an edgy twist with broad shoulders with pleats. Also, puffed-shoulders trench coat was spotted at Versace’s SS20 collection, which included boxy shoulders jeans jacket as well. 

Bold shoulders kept on showing up on the runway reaching Le Smoking Saint Laurent suit which came with short pants and shiny sequins.

Some celebrities made a statement with bold shoulders like Kim Kardashian who showed up at PFW with her famous Latex Jumpsuit with broad bold shoulders.

Gigi Hadid often opts for oversized suits with bold shoulders for her signature street style look.

As for the Saudi influencer, Fozaza, she was spotted with a puffed-shoulders jeans jacket paired with floral midi skirt and boots.
