Charlize Theron Denies Being Engaged to Sean Penn

Charlize Theron has finally spoke out about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Sean Penn, shutting down the rumors about her being engaged to the American actor while they were dating, during The Howard Stern show.

Theron denied that she and Penn were ever engaged, despite multiple reports to the contrary, she said:

“We dated. That is literally all we did. We were definitely exclusive, but it was for barely a year. We never moved in.”

The “Bombshell” star dated Penn back in December 2013 before calling it quits in July 2015. However, in 2014, US Weekly published a report claiming that they were secretly engaged in Paris, but Theron has never talked about engagement nor denied it clearly until now.

Speaking of marriage, Theron was totally against it, she said it clearly at The Howard Stern show: "I’ve never wanted to get married. That’s never been something that’s important to me." Stern was trying to find out why, he said: “But you want a great love of your life.” Charlize replied: “I have two amazing little great loves in my life right now, my life is filled with love.”

“I have never been lonely or alone,” she confirmed.
