How To Pull Off Platform Sandals This Summer
Look of the day

From plastic rings to pussy bow shirts, retro style are making a return to fashion but with a modern twist. And platform sandals, a symbol of the 70s fashion, are among them. They give you height and they are a fashion statement, but they are also easy to wear and very comfortable, which make them an ideal alternative when it comes to running around in heels all day long. Fashion girls usually often wear the platform sandals with socks, to add some quirky and eye-catching vibes to their looks, but I prefer to wear mine without socks to keep things simple and polished. Platform sandals can be paired with most of the items in your closet, but my favorite way to wear them is with high-waist flare jeans; try this and see how this look will give you legs for days!
For today’s look, one of the street style looks caught my eyes; I love the mix of edgy and feminine details, and the outfit really oozes charm, style and chicness. I styled for you the platform sandals with high-rise shorts (so chic), a big-collar white shirt (hello girly vibes), a cropped bomber jacket (tone that girly vibes down with this boyish jacket), and a pearl necklace (for even more elegance). A look that is perfect for a day at the office, a lunch with friends, or a casual evening out, and has a modern preppy vibe. Now that you’ve seen how these shoes can be cool and versatile, if you don't own a pair of platform sandals, I suggest you invest in one right away!
