Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring 2022: Our Favorite Runway Trends and Street Style Looks

Lockdown and pandemic did what was never expected. In February, Copenhagen Fashion Week for Fall/Winter was held digitally. But luckily, designers finally returned to the vibrant Danish capital and kicked off a physical Copenhagen Fashion Week that will mark the start of Spring/Summer 2022 shows.

Two things were on our radars this week, SS 22 trends spotted on the runways, and stylish the street style looks by the well-known influencers like Pernille Teisbaek, giving us a lesson what Scandinavian style is like.

If you take a look at the streets of Copenhagen this week, you can’t know that there were limitations on the number of attendees, due to the buzzing photographers are fashion it-girls. 

To begin with street style, we saw a lot of genius styling and we can’t wait to recreate some of the looks. 

Oversized is definitely one of the favorite trends when it comes to Scandi style, and fashion girls love it for its cool, casual and comfy vibes. 

It seemed that no one is ready to give up the oversized blazer trend yet, because it was there in most of the looks, and it came printed, colored, essential and more. 

As for the colors and prints, we saw the nude colors palette but there were also some bright colors, and sometimes we saw them mixed. Florals, polka dots and more prints had also a big presence on the streets of Copenhagen. 

Knitwear was also a thing. We saw long and oversized knitted dresses with XXL bags, oversized knitted blouses and more. 

Although casual looks took over the streets, glam’ and elegant looks also hit the streets with some high collar dresses, blazers and pointed-toe heels.

And guess what? Crochet is also here, and colored!
