4 Beauty Trends To Know From NYFW Spring/Summer 2022

Whether it’s that dreamy liner you always wanted to apply, the red lips à la Angelina Jolie or the glitz and glams that might leave you applying moon dust to your skin, we are still taken with the New York fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2022 runways that were full of beauty moments we have all missed.

You might call it party season, but the NYFW that kicked off on the 9^th of September was all about coming back to life after a series of lockdowns and pandemic.

Color Pops

Color Pops were so bright on the runways that we couldn’t but notice them. Neon pink, green, yellow, blue and more were places at the inner corner at Erigo X, at the inner and outer corners at Parabal Gurung and were washed perfectly at Badgley Mischka.

Red Alert

The one that’s always there, no matter what. Red lips are the timeless makeup look that we can never have enough of, and guess what? It’s the perfect time to embrace your inner sexy and fierce woman after almost 2 years of a barely there makeup. Spotted at Carolina Herrera, Jason Wu and Michael Kors, red lipstick was completed with a very light makeup keeping things classy and on-point.

The Perfect Liner

Nothing beats a perfectly drawn black eyeliner: sharp and neat. The black liner will make your eyes look bigger and your makeup bolder. Go gothic like Duncan, classic like Naeem Khan, or cat-eye like Christian Siriano.

Glitter

It was all about the glitter on the runways, because it came in really unexpected areas. It covered the face randomly and in a very artistic way at Saint Sintra, took over the sharp and XXL eyeliner at Laquan Smith, and made the eyes and ears glow at Collina Strada.
