The American Music Awards 2021 came back huge, interesting and bold!
The wait was over on Sunday, November 21 right when celebrities hit the AMAS 2021’s red carpet. We were waiting for their looks, and like usual, they did not turn us down.
From the host of the night, the very controversial singer Cardi B, on to beauty queen Jennifer Lopez and more, the stars made jaws drop with their looks.
Bold colors, sheer and see-through textiles, shimmers, cut-outs and daring styles, these were all present on the red carpet.
If you want to see the outfits that got everyone’s attention, we rounded up four of them that will probably inspire you next time you want to have all eyes on you, so keep scrolling.
Cardi B
When we say you can’t be Cardi B, we mean it! The very daring singer did not just throw on one gown, not two, not even three, but eight! So yeah, you probably can’t make 8 looks for just one event, but you can learn some things on how to grab everyone’s attention. The eight looks were a dazzling, but everyone was in shock with this one: a fitted strapless gown with elbow-length gloves with claws, plus a golden mask and sheer mesh veil.
Olivia Rodrigo
For us, Olivia Rodrigo’s mermaid blue gown with fussy feathers was a trip to the 2000s, the fashion that we miss but can still wear with a modern twist. Her David Koma design stole hearts with its slightly sheer feel and shimmery fabric.
J.Lo in Dolce & Gabbana
For her performance on stage of “On My Way” song from “Marry Me” movie, Jennifer Lopez took everyone’s breath away with her look: She wore a tutu-like gown from Dolce & Gabbana and that got us obsessing over and she looked like a modern and edgy princess. The hairstyle and the look were both blessing our feeds this morning.
Becky G
Cutouts were the number one trend on the AMAs red carpet, and musician Becky G's twist on the look included a vibrant purple minidress with three cutouts down the center. She kept the focus on the dress with pulled-back hair, silver hoops, and black pumps.
