Vintage Bustier and Diamond Crown

American reality star Kylie Jenner made a sculptural appearance at the opening of the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime exhibition in New York.
Make way for the jewels in the crown. The opening of the exhibition Thierry Mugler: Couturissime took place at the Brooklyn Museum on November 15th. Among the guests, dressed in Mugler from head to toe: Kylie Jenner, perfectly in the theme. To admire the archives of the designer, the 25-year-old billionaire has bet on the vintage splendor. Her strapless dress with its exaggerated curves and her pair of gloves, both adorned with feathers, were almost overshadowed by a diamond crown from the designer's fall-winter 1999-2000 collection. The monumental piece surrounds the face of the youngest member of the Kardashian clan, making her look like a modern-day Medusa.

In 1999, she was only two years old. Yet, in one week, Kylie Jenner made two appearances dressed in the Mugler archives from that year. On November 7th, the Kylie Cosmetics founder attended the CFDA Fashion Awards in a semi-sheer pleated dress with a long slit. While the work of oversized silhouettes has contributed to the fame of Thierry Mugler, the designer's iconic pieces now seal the fashion coronation of the young billionaire.
