Netflix celebrated the Dubai premiere of Season 3 of Emily in Paris in the most fitting way: with a Dubai fashion makeover and a pink runway. Set against the backdrop of glitz, glamour and great fashion, press, fashionistas, local celebrities, and special guests gathered at Fountain Views, Downtown Dubai to see episodes 1 and 2 of the new season of everyone’s favorite American girl in Paris.

In collaboration with The Arab Fashion Council (AFC), Netflix put the spotlight on some of the finest fashion labels from the Arab World, including Amato, Bazaza, Lili Blanc, Bil Arabi by Nadine Kanso, Slimi Studio, Ilyes Ouali, Marmar Halim and FLTRD. The designers showcased looks inspired by Emily’s bright and enigmatic personality, curated from ready-to-wear pieces, bold accessories and lavish jewellery to capture the daring and elegant vibe of Emily’s super chic wardrobe, infused with a distinct Dubai twist. Some looks were worn down the pink runway, by influential members of the Dubai fashion and entertainment scene, including Enjy Kiwan (dressed in Marmar Halim), Ameni Esseibi (dressed in Lili Blanc) and Nadine Kanso (dressed in Bazaza).

Following the pink runway show, Netflix revealed ‘Emily’s Closet’, giving guests a chance to discover what the Netflix show’s fashionable lead character might wear, if she were to visit Dubai. Select designers have populated the closet with their favorite pieces and accessories, drawing inspiration from Emily’s style and blending it with details from the Arab world.

Season 3 of Emily in Paris will stream on Netflix on 21 December.
