Apparently, wearing a cute outfit is too mainstream nowadays; we now have to be extremely bold to attract everyone’s attention.
Nipples were a big hit in the FRIENDS TV series. With all the jokes about Chandler’s third nipple and Rachel’s 3d nipples popping through her shirts – even when she wore a bra – the world of fashion can’t help but pay tribute to the 90s sitcom. By making fake nipples a thing.
The “free the nipple” campaign might also be responsible for this fashion tragedy, despite the fact that the purpose of the campaign has nothing to do with fashion… The nipple is… well, free!
However, there’s a good reason for this unconventional trend: breast cancer awareness. Okay, but we still think handing out flyers would be more… reasonable?
