This is How You Beat Boredom on the Treadmill
12-May-2017
Have you ever planned to run a whole hour on the treadmill, but you end up stopping by 15 minutes just because all this running in place bored the life out of you? It used to happen to us all the time. What changed? Distractions! Yes folks, all you need is something to distract you, and before you know it, you’ll get to your goal. Here are some tips for you to beat boredom while on the treadmill.
Set up a cool running playlist
Okay, this one is kind of obvious but we just had to mention it. Go for motivating songs, preferably with a stable rhythm to run at the same speed as the tracks. Try it, it’s really fun!
Set mini-goals
First start by accomplishing a five-minute run, and when you’re done, set your goal to 30 minutes and so on. However, instead of doing time-based intervals, it’s better to look at the distance which is more satisfying and less stressful.
Do it with a friend
It’s always better to do it with a friend. You can challenge them to a race or simply make conversation. Trust us, this way you’ll pass time without even noticing.
