Oversized Sunglasses: A Bold Move Towards Summer 2020

We cannot welcome summer properly without a pair of new sunglasses! This season it’s all about oversized trends, including oversized sunglasses which came in different shapes, colors and designs. Not to mention that huge sunglasses frames are celebrities’ best accessory, the Kardashians for instance, Maya Diab, Ahlam... as they are often making a statement using a pair of oversized sunglasses. Also, we spotted this sunglasses size on SS20 runway.

 

 

Versace

Shield sunglasses were making their move on Versace’s SS20 runway, which are designed with oversized lenses, and embellished with Versace’s Medusa logo on the sides. Versace’s SS20 sunglasses were designed with black and white frames, along with brown, greenish and pink shades for lenses’ colors.

 

 

 

Stella McCartney

Oversized sunglasses were spotted at Stella McCartney’s SS20 runway as well, but this time, a hanging gold chunky chain was added to the squared huge frames.

 

 

 

Gucci

Chunky chains were also hanging from Gucci’s oversized sunglasses frames, which came in round, octagon and aviator shapes. Lenses were tinted in deep shade of orange, green, black and mirrored.

 

 

 

Fendi

Huge frames sunglasses kept on showing up on SS20 runway, such as Fendi, to prove that it is the new spring summer trend for this year. Squared shapes, printed frames with light brown lenses tint defined Fendi’s oversized sunglasses. A thin chain was also hanging from it, to add the perfect twist and make it officially the summer 2020 eyewear trend.
