The first Arab space mission to explore Mars has successfully launched its Hope Probe mission, which took off from the Tanegashima Space Center in Japan, after a delay last week due to bad weather conditions.
Gladly, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center had received the first signal from the "Probe of Hope", which means that the rocket booster has successfully separated from the launch vehicle. It is expected to reach Mars by February 2021.
NASA congratulated the UAE after the successful launch of "Probe of Hope" as James Bridenstein, NASA director tweeted: “Congrats to the team that worked on Hope Mars Mission. It’s truly amazing what UAESpaceAgency & MBR Space Centre have accomplished in such a short time. Hope is exactly what the world needs and thank you to the UAE & MHI Group for inspiring all of us.”
