With her Victorian-inspired wedding dress, signed by Dolce & Gabanna Alta Moda, Lady Kitty Spencer, Lady Diana's, niece set the tone for a grandiose and royal wedding in July in Frascati, Italy, with South African Michael Lewis.
It was an unforgettable day for Lady Kitty Spencer and multimillionaire businessman Michael Lewis who celebrated their union in Italy during a wedding weekend last July. The festivities were held at the Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, on the heights of the Italian capital, in an atmosphere that was inevitably Dolce Vita. For the occasion, young woman honored the fashion heritage that her aunt, Lady Diana, certainly passed on to her. She appeared in five exceptional dresses all signed by Dolce & Gabanna Alta Moda, a brand for which she has been an ambassador for several years.
On her big day, she appeared in a spectacular custom-made, Victorian-inspired white lace dress with a high collar and long sleeves. A dress with royal accents as if to underline her link with the late
Princess Diana.
Between English tradition and Italian elegance
With a total of five outfits displayed, this wedding was, definitely, focused on glamour. Handpicked guests were able to attend this full-fledged fashion event. Among the bride’s outfits, was a blue tulle dress embroidered with flowers embellished with a cape of the same color and which was reminiscent of the one chosen by actress Sharon Stone on the steps of the Palais des Festivals, also by Dolce &Gabbana.
She was also able to pull an emerald green and white dress, with bare shoulders, another piece completely stamped with embroidery as well as a golden neckline.
For the hairstyle, the eldest daughter of Charles Spencer opted for a low bun accessorized with a peony. A very floral beauty that sounds like a nod to Italian style. However, fans of the British royal family did not fail to note that nothing was added to crown the bride's hairstyle. Indeed, Kitty Spencer decided not to wear "the Spencer Tiara", worn by her mother, the model Victoria Lockwood during her marriage to Charles Spencer and made popular by the latter's sister, the Princess of Wales.
