Who Says Colored Hair Can’t Stay Healthy?
This is how you pamper your dyed hair.
27-November-2017

It’s always refreshing to color your hair. This ‘new hair new me’ thing is no joke. But despite the fabulous new shade, some only enjoy it for a few weeks before regretting putting all those chemicals into your hair. Why? Because it’s more likely to damage your hair structure, making it dull and dry, and the color will also be damaged. But no need to dwell on the past! We have here some tips and tricks to keep your colored hair fresh and healthy.
Cut off the damaged parts
Trimming your hair right after dyeing it is always a good idea. This way, you’ll keep the damage from spreading, especially if you’re transitioning from a dark brunette to a platinum blonde.
Use the right products
Do you want your newly done hair color to last longer and to stay healthy? All you need to do is use the right products. If you have warm-toned hair, go for the classic color-protecting shampoos and conditioners, and if your hair is rather cool-toned, sulfate-free products are the answers to your prayers.
Don’t wash it too often
Washing your hair more than twice a week will definitively make your color fade faster. So cut down your washes to twice a week for the best results. This will not only make the shade last, but it will also maintain the natural oils produced by your scalp.
Hydrate as much as you can
After coloring your hair, it’s most likely that you lose some of the moisture of your hair. The solution? Hydrate your hair with conditioning treatments such as co-washing, oiling and hair packs with conditioning ingredients such as bananas, honey, mayonnaise, aloe vera gel, coconut and avocados.
