A Red Bracelet in Honor of Late Gianna Bryant's Birthday

Gianna Bryant, who died alongside her father Kobe in a helicopter crash earlier this year, would have turned 14 the first of May.

Vanessa Bryant, Gianna’s mother and Kobe’s wife, paid tribute to her late daughter on her birthday through a red bracelet labeled Gigi Bryant Mambacita, and explained on Instargram the story behind it and said:

“Gianna loved to wear a red bow in all of her school pictures. Red means love and life. To commemorate Gigi’s birthday today, please consider wearing red, caption an act of kindness or show how you will play Gigi’s way since she always gave everything she did her all and led with kindness.”

Vanessa Bryant added that Gigi’s red bracelet will be available for proceeds to benefit our Mamba and Mambacita foundation.
 

Many celebrities paid tribute to Gianna Bryant by wearing the red bracelet and wishing her a happy birthday, including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya and Khloe Kardashian.
