Elissa: The Coronavirus is Fake!

The Lebanese star Elissa often uses her social media platforms to express her opinions on various political or social topics, besides promoting her upcoming albums ormusic videos.

“YaMrayti” singershared her opinion about the coronavirus pandemic, which spread quickly in the world and claimed thousands of lives. Elissa re-tweeted a video, which is said to be in Germany, raising controversy among her followers.

The video showed scenes of protest in Munich, where citizens rejected the coronavirus vaccination, because they believe that the pandemicis just fraud or a biological war between major countries. Consequently, the Lebanese star commented while retweeting the video, confirming that she agrees with them about the Covid-19.

Some considered her opinion was irrational, because a treatment and a vaccineshould be found forcoronavirus especially thatso many people are dying because of it. Some say that Elissa is underestimatingthe pandemic, instead of using her platforms to raise awareness and call everyone to follow safety measures.However, other followers supported her opinion saying they are convinced too that the coronavirus is a fake crisis.
