In both his Paris and Beirut ateliers, the handcrafted excellence is definitely a subject of appreciation. And in celebration of the countless hours of craftsmanship, luxury publisher Assouline is launching a new book in its 2020-2021 catalogue, featuring Zuhair Murad’s historical designs as well as celebrities he dressed, as the Lebanese designer announced through an Instagram post.
The 288-pages’ tome was written by journalist and fashion critic Alexander Fury and it retraces the couturier’s career, his inspirations, his fashion shows, his ultimate red-carpet moments, starting from dressing celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Deepika Padukone, Celine Dion, Priyanka Chopra and more.
The book features some of the most memorable collections that highlight the relationship between Murad and his clients on one hand, and his image of the distinctive powerful contemporary woman on the other hand.

Earlier, the Lebanese designer has launched “Rising from the Aches” to help his people and his city Beirut after the 4th of August blast, an initiative supported by Celine Dion and many other celebrities across the world.
His creativity and talent and skills are all celebrated in the book that includes more than 500 illustrations bringing to life his delicate and precise work.
