Boucheron Launches a New Precious Stone in Its Latest Collection

Always in search of being unique and different, Claire Choisne, artistic director of the Boucheron jewelry house, dressed her iconic Serpents Bohème in aquaprase.

Created in 1968, over the years Serpent Bohème has become a classic in the Boucheron repertoire, showcasing the craftsmanship of the Maison's workshops. This summer, for the first time in the history of jewelry, Boucheron introduces aquaprase on rings, necklaces, earrings and bangles. First discovered in 2015 in Zimbabwe, this translucent natural stone was named after its blue-green color, bestowing every piece with a gentle vibration. With panache and style, Serpent Bohème has never been so free.

Take a fast look on the codes of the Serpent Bohème and then meet the precious aquaprase stone.

Serpent Bohème Codes

Serpent Bohème is first and foremost a subtle mix of materials worked with infinite virtuosity. A series of codes constantly replayed. The head is a delicate drop crowned with gold beads, paved with diamonds or inset with a richly colored gemstone. Its honeycomb structure allows the light to softly pass through the stone. The bohemian creation is further delicately enhanced by a twisted chain, one of the French house’s hallmark features, and here finer than ever.
