Organized by La Biennale di Venezia, the 79th Venice International Film Festival has been transformed into a fashion runway, where celebrities had the chance to showcase their beauty and distinguished appearances. We still did not discover the looks of all celebrities, since the glamorous festival is ending on September 10, but one thing we’re sure about is that the red color is being increasingly notice on the red carpet. Will it THE hue of the season?

Legend of French cinema Catherine Deneuve was amongst the first stars who appeared in this appealing color. To receive his honorary Golden Lion, she opted for a lovely long dress. Between Catherine Deneuve and Italy is a love story that is constantly renewed. Emotional and all dressed in red, the 78-year-old icon has as usual captivated the crowd: a dress slit to the knees, made by his favorite house, that of his friend Yves Saint Laurent. Boat neck, frank fall and marked shoulders; a lioness in red.

Yet this red is not a first for the actress in these Venetian lands. In 2015 in particular, at the 72nd edition of the festival, the star appeared in a red sleeveless dress in pleated silk, belted at the waist. Three years later, the eternal Belle de jour walked the red carpet in a flamboyant couture cape signed Jean Paul Gaultier.

Following in the steps of Deneuve, American Internet personality Emma Chamberlain attended the 79th edition of the Venice Film wearing a vintage red dress from Valentino 07/08 Autumn/Winter ready to wear collection. A bright color that gave her a special allure.

English singer and songwriter Pixie Lott also was seen on the red carpet wearing an elegant red dress signed Giorgio Armani. A magical piece that hugged the singer’s body in a beautiful way.
