Lebanese Film “The Dam” at Cannes Film Festival

Despite all the chaos and everything happening in Lebanon today, film distribution company MC Distribution is glad to announce that one its line up participation at the 75th Edition of the Cannes Film Festival: “The Dam” by Ali Cherri.
Visual artist and filmmaker Ali Cherri has proved that artists in this country can still achieve worldwide success, away from surrendering. With fiction shot “The Dam” being his first feature film, the Lebanese director made it to the international premier at the Directors Fortnight in Cannes Film Festival.
This film talks about Sudanese Maher working in a traditional brickyard fed by the waters of the Nile. Building a mysterious construction made of mud, his creation starts to take a life of its own…
