TV shows are the ultimate source for hairstyles inspiration

From Carrie Bradshaw to Fran Fine on to Daenerys Targaryen, we are having some flashbacks on the hairstyles of the most iconic characters from TV shows. Keep scrolling to know more.  

No matter what costume she wears, her hair always flowed perfectly. It sure is the smile and the highlighted locks of Jil Munroe that were eye-catching, just like the detective role played by Farrah Fawcett, which proves that many characters from TV series are the ultimate source for hairstyles inspiration. And if their wardrobes are not always compatible with our budgets, it is easier to copy their hairstyles.

We think of course of the famous gradient hairstyle Jennifer Anniston had in Friends, known as Rachel, which actually made hairdressers really overwhelmed in the 2000s. And we move to the permanent signature of Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City), the wish of fashion girl with straight hair. Obviously, the heroines of these shows are a reflection of their time: Farrah Fawcett's blowout was a symbol of the seventies, while thick bangs like Zooey Deschanel’s in New Girl could be seen everywhere back in the 2010s.

 

 

From The Avengers (1961) to more recently La Casa de Papel, the series teach us above all that the weave of a character can be read in his hairstyle. Like the smooth bob of the strict Bree Van de Kamp, too perfect to be true ... Same goes for the crazy curls of the extravagant nanny Fran (The Nanny), the elaborate braids of the strategist Daenerys (Game of Thrones), and the short straight cut of Tokyo (La Casa de Papel).
