How to Do the Fox-Eye Makeup Trend

Among the makeup trends that caught our attention is the fox eyes look. The animal-inspired has indeed gone viral, and was spotted on international supermodels like Emily Ratajkowski, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid.

This eye makeup focuses on striking the corners of the eyes upward to make them look elongated while lifting them for a sexy finish. No need for any cosmetic injection to lift your eyes, all you need is makeup tricks on how to apply eyeshadow and some other advice to maximize the attractiveness of your looks.

How do you get those fox eyes with makeup?

Eyeliner

Similar to the classic winged eyeliner, give it a more dramatic touch by accentuating the outer corner of the eyes, also extend the eyeliner to the tear duct to create the illusion of an elongated fox eye. Make sure that the eyeliner is thin at the inner corner of the eye, barely seen at the center of the lash line, to become thicker on the outside before drawing the wing.

Eyeshadow

Although the fox eyes makeup depends on the eyeliner’s shape, you can get the look using eyeshadow. Apply soft smokey makeup to achieve the fox eyes look:

  • Choose an eyeshadow that is darker than your skin tone and start applying it over your crease to create shadow and depth.
  • Apply a light color to the inner corner of your eyes.
  • Take a darker shade and with a flat-angled brush create the wing effect to elongate the eyes.

Eyebrows

Eye makeup doesn’t mean eyeliner and eyeshadow only, but also eyebrows’ shape! Therefore, to get the fox eyes shape, follow these steps:

- Start by filling in the eyebrows as you usually do, until you reach the arch.

- Instead of drawing the tip of the eyebrows down, point it up.

-  Your eyebrows hair may not go in the same direction, but it's fine.

- You can hide the extra hairs with concealer.

- Brush your eyebrows upwards.

Eyelashes

For the final touch, add fake eyelashes, but do not apply them completely to your eyelashes. All you have to do cut the inner side of the eyelash. Place the trimmed eyelashes on the outside of the lashes only, without gluing them to the inner corners of your eyes.

Congratulations, enjoy your foxy eyes!
