The looks we’ll be stealing from ‘Emily in Paris’ season 2

We’re so excited for the return of our favorite fashion girl: Emily in Paris! This week we will definitely binge watch the season 2 of the fashionable series and taking some styling notes. Meanwhile, here are the essentials of her wardrobe which can also make the perfect gift ideas to your stylish friends. 

"She's back for love in very chic fashion," Netflix headlines to entice fans of Emily in Paris, and season 2 hits the platform on December 22. Emily, Lily Collins, is therefore returning to the City of Lights (and will also discover Versailles and Saint-Tropez) alongside her stylish boss (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) and her best frenemy (Camille Razat).
Fashion wise, don't worry, things look awesome and even more stylish. We find all the clichés of the Parisian seen through the eyes of an American, from the famous colorful beret (which had sparked many controversies over season 1) to the green-checked suit jacket, the iconic sailor top of Jean Paul Gaultier or the BB spirit heart dress “We wanted to refine what we had established in the first season. Combine polka dots and stripes, do some colors layering and above all be free, ”explains costume designer Marylin Fitoussi, who worked with the famous Patricia Field (the creator of the iconic looks of Sex and the City).

Nearly 150 brands, from Skorpios to Lebanese house Maison Rabih Kayrouz including Cos, Ba & Sh, Marine Serre, Charles de Vilmorin, Louboutin, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Balmain - are featured in Season 2 of Emily in Paris. Marylin Fitoussi adds: "If fans thought the first season was a bit too much, a bit flashy, they should buckle up for Season 2."
