Queen Rania of Jordan has turned 50 on Monday August 31st , while celebrating her birthday in stylish ways; first the Jordanian royal wore a white dress by Saudi Arabian designer Mohammed Ashi, founder of Ashi Studio, in a photo to mark her 50th birthday, and this week, the queen is paying tribute to Lebanon through her official birthday portrait.
Queen Rania Al Abdullah posed with her usual elegance for an official portrait showing her beautiful smile while wearing a champagne silk dress designed by Lebanese Darin Hachem from her Fall-Winter collection.
"The official portrait of Her Majesty Queen Rania celebrating her 50th birthday in a Darin Hachem fall / winter gown," the Lebanese designer wrote on Instagram as soon as the image was released. "It is an honor to be chosen and may it be a hopeful note for my country Lebanon," she added.
Indeed, the Queen chose an elegant silk maxi drape dress with two crossed strips wrapped around the neck, designed with balloon sleeves and a front slit hem.
Darin Hachem is a ready-to-wear womenswear label, co-founded by Lebanese designer Hachem and creative director Fernanda Gallardo from Mexico, which has its headquarters in Milan.
