Say hello to Chanel’s loafers, the latest fall 2020 it-shoe

If it’s a Chanel, then it has the “It-girl” potentials. After the Grosgrain and Satin Black pumps complimented various iconic Chanel outfits and became the shoe Instagram girls are obsessing over, another Chanel shoe is our current object of desire: the loafers.

Loafers are making their big comeback this season, giving our fall looks a preppy chic vibe, so we can channel our inner Audrey Hepburn. But the ones we want, we really really want, are the Chanel loafers. And we’re not alone, our favorites Instagram girls can’t seem to have enough of these loafers, posting photos of them wearing these gorgeous it-shoes, or even posting close ups of the shoes alone. Talk about a real obsession!

The Chanel coveted loafers come in different colors and forms: Two-tone, jewels embellished, signature quilted… However, the ones we’re obsessing over are the black quilted ones with the double C in gold: timeless, bold and definitely worth investing in.

Wondering how to wear the loafers this season? According to Instagram it-girls, the biggest trend is to wear them with a pair of jeans and a long coat. Scandinavian influencer, stylist, and creative director, with almost 1 million followers, and who’s been delivering some comfy and trendy maternity looks, Pernille Teisbaek styled the black Chanel loafers in a casual yet chic way. Known for her love for the Parisian luxury house, she simply team the shoe with a pair of light straight jeans, a black blouse and an oversized long black coat, definitely the winter look we all want right now. 

Digital creator Loulou De Saison also went for this back to school prep vibe, pairing her Chanel loafers with blue denim pants and a black coat.
