The 2021 BET Awards kicked off in Los Angeles on Sunday night, 27^th of June, and the red carpet was a fashion feast that we’re still taken with. The ceremony, hosted by Taraj P. Henson, saw the return of live audiences and performances with mandatory vaccination. This year, the BET Awards 2021 celebrated the Black woman, and the whole award show was titled “Year of the Black Woman”, and yes these women rocked it.

The young American actress and producer Zendaya chose to pay homage to Beyoncé in a lengthened version of the Versace dress Beyoncé wore for her performance of "Crazy in Love” at the ceremony in 2003. She embraced her inner sexy and fierce woman as she stepped in her cut-out chiffon-like dress.

Ciara

This stunning woman always shows us how to level-up! American singer and dancer Ciara wore a full studded jumpsuit from Alexander Vauthier. She teamed it with a pair of shiny knee-high boots. No, she didn’t look like a disco ball, but yes she looked so sexy with the form-fitting outfit.

H.E.R

H.E.R is always serving us looks. The American singer and songwriter slayed a Giorgio Armani Black blazer-gown-pants. Call it whatever you want, H.E.R definitely went out-of-the-box with her look. Her long black hair added an edgy touch to the look (As if it was needed it anyway).

Andra Day

American singer Andra Day appeared in an olive green jumpsuit from the Beirut-based couture house Azzi and Osta’s Fall/Winter 2021 ready-to-wear collection. She styled the blazer-like off-shoulder with two black studded gloves and a pair of black grungy boots.
