Halima Boland Refused to Go to the Hospital
After she had an accident in the kitchen

Kuwaiti journalist Halima Boland went on Snapchat to tell her followers that she had an accident in the kitchen which left burns on her body.
In a snap, Halima Boland shared her bad experience in the kitchen, where hot water fell on her and burned parts of her body. She thanked God that the water wasn’t boiling, but it was very hot and it caused too much pain.
Halima managed to find home remedies to treat her burns with creams and ice packs. However, she refused to head to the hospital, fearing of being infected with the coronavirus. Halima explained that hospitals are now opening their emergencies for those who are infected by the pandemic; It is very dangerous to go there to treat burns. Therefore, she preferred not to go.
Halima Boland began her journalism career back in 2001 when she was a senior student at the Faculty of Arts at Kuwait University as she hosted “The Best" program. During her media career, she hosted several Gulf programs, including “Rin Ya Jaras”, “Fawazeer Halima” and “Halima Zad”.
