Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki will play the legendary royal couple in the next season of The Crown series. While waiting for its release in 2022, Netflix unveils the first images.
Fire, media disaster, car accident… The fifth season of The Crown series promises to show the tragedies and the focus here is on both Lady Diana and Prince Charles. While it is already known who will be taking their roles Australia's Elizabeth Debicki (Tenet) and Britain's Dominic West (The Wire, The Affair), fans can’t to see them on screen. Last Tuesday, August 17, Netflix kind of broke the suspense by broadcasting the first portraits of the famous couple from the royal family.
The photo featuring Elizabeth Debicki is the most eye-catching. Her resemblance to the mother of Prince William and Harry is more than disturbing. Lying on a sofa, the actress sports a boyish cut and has a melancholic gaze.

The other shot is less striking as there is not this troubling resemblance between the prince and the actor. We see English actor Dominic West, hair slicked to the side, frowning. Poised and well-dressed, he oozes British aristocracy.
Season 5 of "The Crown", which started shooting last month, won’t be released before 2022. Imelda Staunton will be playing Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce Prince Philip , Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Jonny Lee Miller as John Major.
