Ultimate eyeliner guide to every eye shape

Using good-quality products is important when it comes to make-up, but applying the product the right way is the key.

Drawing the Eyeliner for example is considered among the hardest steps in a regular makeup routine, and few know which form suits their eye-shape. Although eyeliners can transform the look in minutes once applied the right way, they can also ruin the look when not compatible to the eye’s shape . So here’s a little guide that will help you figure out the best eyeliner form for your eye shape.

Almond-shaped eyes

Almond-shaped eyes are pointed at the inner corner, rounded at the center and lifted upwards. If your eyes are almonds, then all you have to do is trace your lash line from the beginning until the end following the natural shape of your eye while building more thickness towards the end. Trace the lower lash line also, your eyes will look bigger.

Downturned eyes

You have downturned eyes when they drop down at the outer corner.

Downturned eyes need something to make them look more lifted. First, a bright-colored pen will definitely accentuate the shape.

Then, follow your lash line until you flick that line a bit at the end to create a natural lift. We advise you to leave the lower lash bare.

Asymmetrical eyes

When one eye slightly differs from the other, that’s when your eyes are asymmetrical, and we’ve got the best eyeliner shape for you.

First, choose a light-colored eye liner. Apply a thicker amount of the liner at the outer corner of the smaller eye to make it look wider and parallel to the other eye.

Round eyes

You know you have round eyes, when there’s a visible white area under the iris and the shape looks round and the eyes sometimes pop out.

Go for a longer line, it will downgrade the sharp circular form. Make the line thin (Very thin, barely visible) on the inner corner of your eyes, so that it becomes thicker on the outer corner.
