This season, discover the perfect gift with Vacheron Constantin's latest addition to its Overseas collection: a sophisticated and technical tourbillon timepiece. This exquisite watch, crafted in white gold and featuring a striking blue dial, stands out with its diamond-encrusted bezel and hour-markers, all set with elegant baguette-cut diamonds. The 42.5 mm diameter watch combines sporty elegance with a sleek profile, thanks to the ultra-thin, self-winding in-house Calibre 2160 with a tourbillon mechanism.
The timepiece is versatile, coming with three interchangeable bracelet/straps. The first is a seamless white gold bracelet with a folding clasp, while the other two - one in blue calfskin and the other in rubber - offer alternative styles, each fastened with a white gold pin buckle adorned with baguette-cut diamonds.
This Overseas tourbillon model marks a significant development in Vacheron Constantin's travel-inspired collection. For the first time, this model is presented in white gold, enhancing its refined aesthetic. The watch's luminescence is further amplified by its emblematic satin-brushed blue dial. A captivating contrast is created with 60 diamonds set on the hexagonal bezel, extending to the hour-markers. The baguette-cut diamonds complement the watch's structured design, adding to its elegant and slim appearance.
Vacheron Constantin's commitment to understated elegance and technical expertise is evident in this Overseas tourbillon watch. The slim curvature of the watch is a testament to this, enabled by the ultra-thin Calibre 2160, just 5.65 mm thick. The overall slim profile of the watch, slightly over 10 mm in thickness, is achieved through a 22K gold peripheral rotor, which provides an 80-hour power reserve. This design not only reduces thickness but also allows an unobstructed view of the movement from the back.
The ultra-thin Calibre 2160 is a spectacle in itself, featuring a beautifully choreographed tourbillon. Its technical prowess is highlighted by the movement's detailed finishes, including a circular-grained mainplate, Côtes de Genève adorned bridges, hand-bevelled tourbillon bar, frosted wheels, and polished screws. This calibre, comprising 188 components, operates at 2.5 Hz (18,000 vibrations per hour) and displays hours, minutes, and small seconds on the tourbillon carriage.
Designed for versatility, the Overseas tourbillon high jewellery watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters and features a screw-down crown. Its unique bracelet/strap system allows for effortless, tool-free changes, adapting the watch for different occasions. Whether sporting the integrated white gold bracelet, the sporty blue rubber strap, or the classic calfskin leather strap, each look is completed with a white gold pin buckle set with 16 baguette-cut diamonds, making it an ideal gift for this season's festivities.
