Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024
Rita Khoueiry
25-January-2024
Maria Grazia Chiuri has unveiled her haute couture collection for Dior Spring-Summer 2024, exploring the concept of the "aura" of a work of art, as defined by philosopher Walter Benjamin. Titled "Big Aura," the runway show showcases the unique craftsmanship of the house, with seemingly simple creations that emphasize meticulous work on materials, embroidery, and precise cuts. The color palette is soft, and among the fifty looks presented, two ensembles stand out for their embroidery and draping techniques, embodying the essence of this collection.
