For Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026–2027, creative director Daniel Roseberry stepped away from certainty and embraced instinct with The Call of the Void, a collection that celebrates the unpredictable nature of creation. Unveiled during Paris Haute Couture Week, the collection reflects Roseberry's belief that true creativity emerges not from formulas, but from surrendering to the unknown—an idea deeply rooted in Elsa Schiaparelli's surrealist legacy.
On the runway, couture craftsmanship met experimental innovation through unexpected materials including latex, silicone, sculpted paint, and hyper-realistic textures, replacing many of couture's traditional fabrics. Sculptural silhouettes, floral constructions, kinetic details, and surreal accessories transformed each look into a wearable work of art, while a vibrant palette of lobster pink, saffron, violet, pale mint, and Schiaparelli's signature gold brought the collection to life.
Rather than relying on the house's established codes, Roseberry reimagined them, treating the house's iconic tailoring as embellishment and pushing couture into new territory. The result was a bold exploration of fantasy, craftsmanship, and imagination.
