Giambattista Valli Spring Haute Couture 2024
Rita Khoueiry
29-January-2024
At Giambattista Valli's latest haute couture show, a stunning arrangement of Trianon roses set the stage, reflecting Valli's passion for nature's eternal beauty. He views couture as an amplified art form, where fabrics are sculpted into voluminous shapes, echoing the whispers of nature. Valli's collection, rich in color and fantasy, showcased floral motifs and new silhouettes in mottled silks, a departure from his usual tulle. The show began with a black velvet bodysuit, a nod to couture fundamentals, adorned with fabric rosettes and a dramatic tulle-draped corset. Valli's designs, inspired by natural beauty and technical mastery, invite us into a world of infinite, unfinished elegance.
Among the array of fashion spectacles, the one that truly captivated and enthralled us was the unveiling of Maison Valentino's latest collection, a breathtaking showcase of sartorial artistry.
